Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive Ins and Dives will be featuring a visit to one of the South’s favourite barbecue spots, the Smoke Shack Team of San Antonio. Chris Conger (the restaurant's owner) was our host during our previous visit to San Antonio. His amazing barbecue is what makes him famous. Take a look at his Big Dog sandwich. It includes pulled pork and chopped brisket as well as slaw with feta cheese and two homemade sauces.

The Big Pinks BBQ truck doesn't have an engine, but it does have a much better smoker. The truck has been parked at Union Avenue in Bridgewater for many decades. Food Network will show the truck live on their July 29th, 9 p.m. The Big Pinks BBQ sandwich is an unforgettable experience. The sausage is eight inches long and is filled with different types meat. The sausage is served with a variety of sauces and an onion ring.

Guy Fieri's restaurant career

Guy Fieri started his restaurant career in his teens when he sold soft pretzels. His father helped him construct a three-wheeled bicycle car, which he sold to make enough money for his international study trip. Guy Fieri was a 1990 graduate of the University of Nevada.
